An evening away

Thank goodness for Relief Society and a wonderful husband! Tonight my ward celebrated the birthday of the Relief Society (165 years, I think) and my amazing husband was so supportive about my attendance, even though it meant a babysitting gig for him that involved our oldest 2, as well as the neighbor's 2 young boys. I felt a little guilty about leaving him with all that, but I was so grateful for the opportunity to go. I loved the adult female conversation (a rare commodity these days), the laughs, and the ice cream sundae at the end (but who wouldn't love that?). And while I was only there for just over an hour, it gave me the extra boost that I needed to keep pressing on. Thanks Jeff!
